"Signal Interference" is an original acrylic and mixed-media work on board — silver-grey textured ground layered with crossing orange and purple string lines, a red circular form, red splatter, and dense buildup of black, gold, and raw color on the left, with glitter embedded throughout.
I've been in rooms full of noise where nothing getting through was real. This piece is that experience made physical — the static, the pull of the signal underneath it, the red alarm of something trying to reach you through all the interference. The string isn't decoration. It's the actual frequency lines. You can almost hear it.
This is for the one who's learning to tune out the noise and trust what they keep hearing underneath it. Owning this says you haven't given up on finding the signal.
